Job Description Position Summary As the Director, Application Delivery - Supply Chain and Operations, you will be responsible for IT leadership of applications and solutions in the Supply Chain and Operations areas.  The person in this role will provide the strategic roadmap, architecture, vision and best practice approach for the enterprise applications and architecture.  The ability of this individual to establish themselves as a people and thought leader is critical to the success of this role and requires a strong understanding of business and IT processes and excellent communication skills.  The Director, Application Delivery will lead a team to successfully execute against the project portfolio, partnering with the Business Relationship Management team to shape demand and various cross-functional teams to manage capacity.   Responsibilities Accountable for overall leadership and direction of the Supply Chain and Operations Application Delivery team.     Leads and coaches team responsible for project management, functional and business analysis, application development, testing, and support of Supply Chain and Operations applications and strategic projects Strong focus on team development, supporting employee Individual Development Plans to build skills and competencies; maintain a dynamic and highly cross-trained team Develops and governs strategy and methodology for enterprise applications including alignment with enterprise strategy, application selection and rationalization, delivery and support model for SaaS and on- premise applications Accountable for management of project budgets and resources, including maintaining accurate records within the IT Financial Management Model. In conjunction with the Business Relationship Management and Process team, maintain strong understanding of the business priorities and align team operational support and project priorities accordingly. Works with Testing and AMS team to align testing resources and plans, supporting shift to increased automated testing tools and processes. Liaise with Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Production, and IT leads, build effective relationships with all levels of the organization. Monitor industry trends, provide strategic direction for applications in the Supply Chain and Operations areas Communicate and educate business and IT leads in enterprise applications, underlying architecture and integration strategies Lead delivery of governance, maintenance and enhancement for all Supply Chain and Operations applications, the underlying architecture and data integrations. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business or Information Technology or equivalent experience required. Minimum of 10 years technology experience 5+ years of experience facilitating development and implementation of business initiatives/projects Demonstrated track record of creating technology solutions to solve business problems (globally, or across multiple divisions or regions within a single company) Experience designing and implementing ERP systems (SAP and JDE) Experience designing and implementing integrated solutions involving one of more of following solutions: demand planning, driver-based forecasting, business intelligence, SaaS application deployment, custom web Experience defining solution and integration architecture within enterprise architecture guidelines Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree or MBA is preferred. Project management experience preferred Strong collaboration, teamwork and relationship building skills across multiple levels and functions in the organization. A strategic thinker focused on business value results that utilize technical solutions. Exceptional ability to lead change using positive and collaborative methods. Skilled at conflict resolution and problem-solving to achieve win-win outcomes. Diplomacy: able to influence and motivate others using personal rather than positional power. Understands the IT industry, e.g. emerging technologies and trends, industry standards, solution architecture, and the vendor landscape. Highly self-motivated.
